World Games 2009

Este fin de semana se realizó un torneo de gran importancia para el panitball, se trata de un torneo dentro de los World Games, increible noticia para nuestro deporte, ha ganado Alemania, entre los paises invitados estaban Australia, Iran, Japon, Canada, Malaysia, Taiwan y Singapoore, Usa no partició en el evento.

German National Paintball team has won the World Games 2009 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Paintball is an introductory sports which was shown the first time at the World Games 2009.

Final Ranking:

01. Gemany
02. Australia
03. Iran
04. Japan

iran, japan, australia, canada, taiwan, singapoore, germany and usa were the invited countries.

Unfortunately the American team was not participating. If we are lucky Paintball will now be part of the World Games. The atmosphere was very good, the reception of our sports also.

This could be a big step for paintball in terms of publicity and visibility. No matter what country has won the event it is the best advertisement for our sport. The people and the reception was pretty good and the feedback as well. Hopefully it will work out!

Let us cross fingers that our sport will now be officially registered for the World Games.
